The adventure began in 1986… And ever since, Elmer Food Beat have remained just as happy to be on stage!
Who could have imagined that an idea born in the fevered minds of Twistos, Vincent and Manou in Piriac-sur-Mer, France, soon joined by Kelu, Kalou and then Grand Lolo, would take them all the way to 2026? Forty years later, they’re still going strong: energetic, smiling, full of life, and more electrifying, energetic and romantic than ever!
To celebrate 40 years of their career, they took to the stage at La Cigale to celebrate their emerald anniversary with their audience. In front of a packed house, Elmer Food Beat set the stage on fire, performing as a five-piece with Kelu returning for this extraordinary tour, and delivering their iconic hits including “Le Plastique c’est fantastique,” “Daniela,” “Ça c’est rock” and “Marie à la mer.”
