With "In Darkness All Shadows Gone", Eshtadur delivers its most ambitious and cohesive work to date. Further developing the cinematic and emotionally charged approach that defines the band's identity, the album combines melodic death metal and doom in a dynamic and immersive listening experience. Built around a central narrative, "In Darkness All Shadows Gone" follows the symbolic journey of the Crow, guiding the listener through darkness, inner conflict and spiritual transformation. Rather than a collection of standalone songs, the album unfolds as a unified work in which each composition contributes to an exploration of identity, resilience, sacrifice and self-discovery. This narrative is supported by songwriting that balances aggression, melody and atmosphere. Throughout the album, Eshtadur blends powerful riffs, orchestral arrangements, evocative melodies and dynamic shifts to create a sound that is both intense and emotional. Every musical element serves the album's narrative moving between crushing heaviness and reflective passages while maintaining cohesion. The result is a record that reveals new details and emotional nuances with every listen. Tracks such as "Into The Woods" and "August's Burdens" highlight the album's musical and thematic vision, pairing memorable melodies with dramatic arrangements while reinforcing the overarching concept. Orchestral textures and layered compositions enhance its cinematic character, giving each song its own identity while strengthening the album's overall flow. Supported by official music videos and an international promotional campaign through Rockshots Records, "In Darkness All Shadows Gone" is a strong addition to the contemporary melodic death/doom metal catalogue, offering distributors and retailers a concept-driven release with musical depth and lasting appeal.
