Emerging from the same movement as WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, Fauna champions a cascadian black metal sound, but that's not all! This album features three major, lengthy tracks that showcase a deep affinity for melancholic folk, with stunning acoustic passages and even captivating drone elements at times. Beautiful, sorrowful (that violin!), and fierce, this record doesn't shy away from raw black metal screams, lightning-fast accelerations, and soaring lyrical moments.
