New Jersey malevolents FUNEBRARUM uncloak their third full-length; the sheer magnitude of “Beckoning The Void Of Eternal Silence” rains down world-ending Doom tenebrosity with searing scowls of Death Metal assailment.
With a perturbed atmosphere writhing around the entire record, the pulsation of which “Beckoning The Void Of Eternal Silence” breeds is an expertly calculated Death-doom craftsmanship and yet emitting at times a surreal bridging between extreme genres in orchestra-like precision. The core DNA of FUNEBRARUM has remained intact, albeit the exalted darkness has shaped themselves to be cut from a different cloth.

With its inception in 1999, FUNEBRARUM has released several demos, EPs, full-lengths and splits as well and have been an undeniable force in the underground extreme Metal scene. To date, the current line-up has remained intact since 2017.
“Beckoning The Void Of Eternal Silence” marks the group’s third full-length in 17 years with a refreshed line-up featuring original vocalist, Daryl Kahan (Assuck, Citizens Arrest, Disma, Darkened etc), drummer Charlie Koryn (Ascended Dead, Incantation, Morbid Angel, etc), guitarist Phil Tougas (Chthe’ilist, Atramentus, Worm, etc), bassist Winslow (Mutant Supremacy) and second guitarist Sam Osborne (Worm, Hulder, ex-Undergang, etc).
Partrik Fernlund of Gorement contributed guest guitar solos on ‘From Rotting Burial Shrouds’ and ‘The Whispering Cathedral’.
“Beckoning The Void Of Eternal Silence” was recorded at several locations at Elektric City Recording (Ascended Dead, Coffin Rot, etc) by Charles Koryn and at Sound Spa Studios by Stephen DeAcutis.
