Hailing from the 77 region, HEVIUS delivers a powerful Heavy Metal experience. Some archeologists claim the band is indirectly descended from IRON MAIDEN, HELLOWEEN, and STRATOVARIUS, while neo-historians would place them more in line with FREEDOM CALL and GLORYHAMMER. Since their self-produced debut album "Derrière la Lumière" in 2005, HEVIUS has captivated audiences with energetic yet accessible rhythms, strong melodic lines, clear vocals, and poetic lyrics sung in French. The band has graced stages across Paris, even opening for SABATON. After several lineup changes between 2008 and 2013, Hevius solidified their Heavy Metal style while embracing a playful edge. In 2020, armed with their new album "Millénaire," HEVIUS sets out to conquer the Francophone Metal scene! The album features 11 new tracks along with 2 bonus tracks: a unique cover of "Vice et Versa" (LES INCONNUS) and a re-recorded version of their flagship song "Nous sommes des Rois," originally released on their debut album.
