After The Wildfire is a striking collaborative album by Norwegian sound innovators Jan Bang and Arve Henriksen, released in 2025 on Punkt Editions. Commissioned for the Skopje Jazz Festival, the record blends ambient textures, electronic sampling, improvisational jazz and orchestral layers into a cohesive, atmospheric journey. Featuring Henriksen’s haunting trumpet and voice alongside Bang’s inventive live sampling and electronics, the music drifts between evocative soundscapes and folkloric motifs — a contemplative exploration of resilience, memory and sound that lingers long after the final note.
