This project was filmed in 4K using twenty cameras by director Mark Ritchie (Kanye West, Madonna) on September 23, 2016, at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in California, in front of 15,000 fans.
Dave Navarro, the band's guitarist, recently stated: "During the preparation for the tour, I had to relearn some of the album. It was inspiring to break some of the rules we had set for ourselves over the years and return to a broader, more unorthodox approach."
