If you’re a fan of thunderous guitars with epic proportions, you’re already familiar with the "shred professor" Joe Stump, a man who loves to unleash roaring riffs and lightning-fast solos. If anyone can crank the amp up to 11, it’s Stump, and he does just that with *Lord of the Strings*, a relentless ride forged in steel, set to be released by Silver Lining Music on October 16, 2026.
Stump doesn’t just deliver a breakneck tempo with tracks like "Full Throttle" or revisit the classic realms of traditional melodic heavy metal with "Playing with Fire." In this instrumental album featuring 12 tracks, he takes the guitar into lyrical territories with pieces like "In the Hall of the King" and "Eternity of Darkness," where his razor-sharp licks take center stage in the narrative. He also allows for moments of poetic and acoustic reflection in "Den of Vipers" and "Leipzig 1722," but overall, *Lord of the Strings* remains a fierce and relentless beast, and (as Stump himself puts it) "a heavy metal guitar orgy."
