Knives - Nothing New Under The Sun - CD/Vinyl

Rooted in Bristol's thriving alternative music community, 'NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN' builds on the foundations laid by debut album 'GLITTER'. Made up of six musicians with backgrounds and influences that stretch across hardcore, post-punk, noise rock, nu-metal, electronic music and dance culture, KNIVES have never been interested in staying within the confines of a single scene. Instead, their music reflects the city around them, drawing together contrasting ideas, sounds and perspectives into something distinctly their own.

Across 'NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN', the band continue that approach, pairing saxophone, electronics, heavy guitars and melody with lyrics that examine both personal experiences and wider social issues. The result is a record that feels inseparable from the Bristol scene that shaped it while marking another step forward for a band constantly looking for new ways to challenge themselves.
