Lunarsea is an Italian melodic death metal band formed in Rome in 2003 by Fabiano Romagnoli and Cristian Antolini after the end of their previous progressive-power project. Following two demos, they released their debut Hydrodynamic Wave in 2006, earning strong acclaim and playing shows across Europe with bands like Rage and Insomnium. Their 2009 album Route Code Selector solidified their melodic yet aggressive style, followed by the concept album Hundred Light Years in 2013. In 2019 they released Earthling/Terrestre, continuing their evolution with technical riffing, atmospheric layers, and guest appearances.
