Merciless Attack is an Italian thrash metal band formed in Venice in 2011, known for lyrics inspired by themes of science fiction, radioactivity, and violence. Founded by Punzo (bass and vocals) together with Fede on guitar, the lineup has changed over the years but the band remains active. After their debut album Back to Violence in 2014, they released Mechanical Visions in November 2023, a 36-minute work firmly rooted in old-school thrash, drawing influences from the style of the late ’80s and early ’90s U.S. scene. Tracks like “Lagoon of Blood” and “Nuclear Tsunami” highlight tight riffs, relentless grooves, and a raw, energetic sound.
