Misanthrope - Hater Of Mankind - CASSETTE

THE ORIGINS OF THE LEGEND
Before the cathedrals of decadence, before the conceptual masterpieces, there was hatred—pure, primal, and foundational: Death Metal!
Released in 1991 and out of print for over three decades, this debut manifesto by Misanthrope is reborn today in the most complete and faithful version ever produced.
This 35th Anniversary Edition is far more than a mere reissue; it represents a true resurrection.
For the first time, *Hater of Mankind* and *Deus Puerilis* are united on a single release, restored through meticulous stem mastering that respects the original spirit of the recordings while lending them a fresh sonic texture.
Long before the cult albums that would establish Misanthrope as one of Extreme Metal’s most unique acts, there was the rage, the hatred, and the primal, bestial instinct of Death Metal.
Between 1990 and 1992, Misanthrope laid the foundations of their identity through a series of recordings that have since become legendary among Death Metal collectors and enthusiasts.
This anniversary edition finally gathers the entirety of that formative era. It can be considered the true "MISANTHROPE ALBUM #0"—an essential historical document for understanding the band's birth.
No other edition has ever compiled Misanthrope's early years.
It stands as a true TESTAMENT TO AN ERA: before trends, before the Internet, before fads—there was only the D.I.Y. underground.
Music born of the anger of Seine-Saint-Denis and the Parisian suburbs, born of darkness and an uncompromising refusal to yield. Listening to these recordings reveals the early ambitions of a band destined to leave its mark on the history of French metal.

Before the masterpieces and *Embrasement*, there was *Hater of Mankind*—Chapter Zero of a body of work that achieved cult status. A historical archive. More than just a definitive reissue: a resurrection.
