After 'Ermittens Dal', released in 2017 on Peaceville Records, MORK returns with an even darker and more intense Black Metal album: 'Det Svarte Juv', featuring 10 tracks. 'Det Svarte Juv' is cold, atmospheric, both raw and captivating. Written, performed, and produced by Thomas Eriksen, it was recorded at Enormous Door, the same studio that hosted the legendary metal band Darkthrone. This album marks a new milestone for the band, taking the listener on a dark and masterful sonic journey. The frontman, Thomas Eriksen, comments: “The album was written during the darkest period of my life in 2017, when a series of tragedies and misfortunes struck me. The process of creating this album is filled with sadness, hatred, anger, pain, but also strength and self-confidence [...] There are no guest musicians on this album. My moods and states of mind are my only inspirations.” As with previous Mork albums, the music of 'Det Svarte Juv' is diverse, featuring classic blast-beat riffs, melancholic Black’n’Roll Doom melodies. 'Det Svarte Juv' is pure and sincere, free from any external influences.
