After 30 years, NIGHTINGALE's celebrated first full-length, “The Breathing Shadow”, is available again in re-mastered shape by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Opeth, Katatonia, etc.).
Originally released only on CD in 1995, “The Breathing Shadow” showcased Swanö’s newfound penchant for gothic-tinged hard rock, loosely based off the success of Edge of Sanity’s "Sacrificed", a track that cemented Swanö as metaldom’s master of genres. Featuring stand-outs “Nightfall Overture”, “Gypsy Eyes”, “Alone?” and “The Dreamreader”, the album is singular in NIGHTINGALE’s impressive repertoire.
