Founded 30 years ago by renowned singer, multi-instrumentalist, and metal producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Edge Of Sanity), NIGHTINGALE has evolved from a solo goth/rock project into a band that blends hard rock, AOR, melodic metal, and progressive rock.
The entire discography has been fully remastered by Swanö himself, featuring numerous bonus tracks. Originally released in 2007, "White Darkness" is NIGHTINGALE's seventh album, where 70s influences, prog, rock, and metal intertwine with catchy melodies and a symphonic touch.
This album is now reissued in a remastered version: a 2CD set in a slipcase with a 32-page booklet (including notes and rare photos) plus 22 bonus tracks (demos, live versions, rough mixes, and more).
