Nils Strassburg was named Germany's finest Elvis performer by Time Warner in New York. For years, the German-American artist, born in Vermont, has toured successfully across Europe with his ten-piece band, The Roll Agents, presenting The Musical Story of Elvis.
On January 8, 2024, Nils Strassburg performed a sold-out concert at the legendary Olympia in Paris. Joined by his band and a specially arranged string ensemble created exclusively for the occasion, he delivered an extraordinary live performance featuring many of Elvis Presley's greatest songs, performed on what would have been the King's birthday.
This special concert is now being released as a CD in a deluxe digipak edition. The album features twelve tracks, including timeless classics such as In the Ghetto, If I Can Dream, Can't Help Falling in Love, and Johnny B. Goode, as well as several lesser-known gems from Elvis Presley's repertoire.
The album will be released to coincide with the 2026 Elvis Festival in Bad Nauheim. Beginning in the autumn, Nils Strassburg will embark on a concert tour across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In January 2027, he will continue with a twelve-date tour of France, including a return performance at the iconic Olympia in Paris.
