NORD is a Post Rock/Metal band formed in 2012. Their musical direction blends elements of Post Rock, Math Rock, and Progressive Metal. Initially known as Light Deflection, they released their first EP "Monsters" in 2015, before rebranding to NORD for the release of their debut album "And Now There's Only A River Left Behind" in 2018. Following a series of concerts and festivals in France and Germany, NORD returned to the studio in 2019 to record their second album, "The Only Way To Reach The Surface," which showcases a more technical and intense sound than its predecessors.
