After a decade of silence, Danish black funeral doom artist Nortt returns with Dødssang, a new full-length album set for release through Avantgarde Music.
Carrying forward Nortt’s signature blend of oppressive darkness and spectral melancholy, Dødssang is a descent into the void, a continuation of the artist’s singular vision of despair and death. Stripped of light and hope, the album embodies the weight of mourning, weaving desolate funeral dirges with the cold nihilism of black metal.
