NUNKTHUL was originally created in 1996 by Lord Tenebro Maleficium (leader of the ritual darkwave act MANTAR).
After a few line-up changes, including the departure of Lord Tenebro Maleficium, the band released a demo “Rylkien nar Enstumet” in 2000 and then set to work on their debut album, “Nightshade Dominion”.
This album was recorded between 2001 and 2004 but was ultimately never released, as the band ceased to exist right after the recording sessions, lost in an attic then.
Malpermesita Records is proud today to release this masterpiece of cold old school Swedish-style Black Metal.
