After releasing the debut album of his project Serment, Moribond returns with something completely different: his ambient project Oublieth. Straddling the line between what some might call "dungeon synth" and the more cinematic soundscapes of artists like Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, and Klaus Schulze, Oublieth draws inspiration from classic fantasy themes of the 70s and 80s. This is evident in the recording, which is made exclusively with analog synthesizers, as well as the stunning cover art by Stephen Fabian, a renowned illustrator for Dungeons and Dragons and Ravenloft. This ambient epic is strictly limited to 500 copies on CD.
