Paul Personne et Jeremy Filsonne - Sous Le Ciel - CD/Vinyl

After more than twenty years of musical chemistry on stage and in the studio, Paul Personne and his son Jeremy Filsonne take a decisive step forward with Sous le ciel, a spontaneous musical dialogue born from a desire to share and which, as ideas began to flow, evolved into a collaborative album.
In January 2025, during the difficult period following the passing of Gloria, Paul’s wife, Jeremy offered to become the artistic director of his solo project. Paul quickly embraced the idea, getting involved in the choice of songs, adding new parts and adapting lyrics. Ideas soon began to flow, and the duo started sharing guitars, vocals, lyrics and music, driven by a single ambition: to create great songs. As this dynamic grew beyond its initial purpose and became a true collaboration, their professional team suggested taking the project a step further and turning it into a genuine father-son album.
Taking refuge throughout the winter in Paul’s home studio in Normandy, they crafted 11 tracks, recording all the instruments and vocals themselves. The mixing was then entrusted to Nicolas Quéré (Jean-Louis Aubert, Arctic Monkeys) in the Breton countryside.
Created freely, without pressure or constraints, Sous le ciel unfolds over 43 minutes through Paul and Jeremy’s voices, answering and harmonizing with one another, while their guitars remain at the heart of the album.
