Inspired by a quote from scientist Carl Sagan, "Bring On The Psychics" marks the band's first album in five years. The record was produced and mixed by Jon Markson (DRUG CHURCH, DRAIN) in just ten days.
Vocalist and guitarist Walter Schreifels comments, "For this album, I returned to my early influences around the idea of 'breaking down walls' or 'starting today.' Whether you're a fan of hardcore or youth crew, those records were powerful because they spoke to their time and offered pathways to a better future... with mosh-worthy moments. That's the energy I wanted to capture."
He adds, "For me, it's the kind of thing FUGAZI did on their more laid-back tracks. It's nice to have something more open that showcases the PINK FLOYD side of QUICKSAND."
