The ethereal and incantatory music found in "Ye Are Gods" can be roughly described as an unlikely fusion of THE BEATLES, MEATLOAF, and THE MOON LAY HIDDEN BENEATH A CLOUD. Additionally, the album's liturgical and ritualistic aspects evoke the recordings of ALEISTER CROWLEY's "The Great Beast Speaks" and ANTON LA VEY's "Satanic Black Mass." Occult, profound, and fragile, "Ye Are Gods" is one of the standout surprises of this year's end. God Is Satan.
