THE LOSTS is a melodic Dark Heavy Metal band hailing from Northern France, active since 2010 and performing across Hauts-de-France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. They have shared the stage with notable acts such as SERENITY (Austria), DIRTY SHIRT (Romania), LONEWOLF (France), WIZARD (Germany), KING HEAVY (Chile), CAPILLA ARDIENTE (Chile), DRAKKAR (Belgium), and FIREFORCE (Belgium), among others.
All lyrics and visuals are interconnected by a common concept: the story of the "Lost Ones," a fictional narrative that serves as a satire of our societies. These innocent figures, born from nowhere and without guidance, are drawn to cities by a desire for humanity and civilization. Upon encountering humanity, they absorb its deep nature and develop all the ills of our societies: thirst for power, deviance, manipulation, and various mental sufferings.
A new lineup presents "MYSTERY OF DEPTHS," the second album from THE LOSTS, produced by Phil Reinhalter at WaveLight Studio (known for Putrid Offal, Mercyless, Noise Emission Control) and mastered by Frédéric Motte at Conkrete Studio (home to LoudBlast, ETHS, Gorod, The Great Old Ones, Mörglbl). "MYSTERY OF DEPTHS," illustrated by American artist Chadwick St John, who has previously worked with Darkthrone, continues the musical exploration by merging sub-genres of melodic Metal.
