Tyler, The Creator - The Odd One Out - CD

Tyler, The Creator has established himself as one of the most distinctive and influential artists of his generation, building a career around his uncompromising creativity, unconventional production and instantly recognisable visual identity. The Los Angeles native first broke through as the leader of Odd Future, before developing into a global star with albums including ‘Goblin’, ‘Wolf’, ‘Cherry Bomb’, ‘Flower Boy’, ‘IGOR’ and ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’. His unique blend of alternative hip hop, soul, jazz and experimental production has earned him multiple Grammy Awards, major chart success and a fiercely loyal international fanbase, while collaborations with artists including Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Lil Wayne and Kali Uchis have further cemented his position as one of modern music’s most creative figures.
‘Odd One Out’ dives deep into Tyler’s early catalogue, bringing together a collection of raw, unconventional and harder to find recordings that capture the rebellious energy of his formative years. Across 16 tracks the release features appearances from Mac Miller, Domo Genesis, Casey Veggies and Earl Sweatshirt, with standout cuts including ‘OK’, ‘Odd Toddlers’, ‘AssMilk’, ‘Sarah’, ‘Pigs Fly’ and ‘Inglorious’. Packed with dark humour, abrasive production, twisted storytelling and the unpredictable creativity that would become Tyler’s trademark, ‘Odd One Out’ offers a compelling snapshot of an artist developing the sound and attitude that would eventually make him one of hip hop’s most celebrated outsiders.
