The Belarusian death metal band VELD was formed in 2001 by musical genius Kiryl Bobryk. After several albums that honed their sound within the intense and technically relentless realm of brutal death metal, VELD has extensively toured alongside bands such as MAYHEM, VADER, BEHEMOTH, and DECAPITATED. Their unyielding live performances have established VELD as a leader in the Belarusian metal scene and one of the most popular death metal acts in the Eastern bloc. To satisfy his creative drive, guitarist and frontman Kiryl Bobryk even ventured into writing a progressive metal album released under his own name: "Seeds of Chaos," showcasing exceptional guitar work. Released in 2015, VELD's latest and most powerful work, "Daemonic - The Art of Dantalian," is sure to leave a lasting impression. This new future classic of the genre reveals a very dark organic side of the band while maintaining the technical madness and precision of the original death metal they cherish. VELD has crafted new tracks for their upcoming album titled "S.I.N.," featuring guest appearances from Romain Goulon (BENIGHTED, NECROPHAGIST) and Karl Sanders (NILE). With unwavering determination, VELD pushes the boundaries of death metal in terms of musicality and execution. For fans of BEHEMOTH, NILE, DECAPITATED, and VADER.
