USQUAM is a new French black metal band, and with their debut EP spanning over 20 minutes, they are determined to make a name for themselves! We wish them all the success, as this record is polished, excellent, and incredibly intense, with death metal influences that cannot be overlooked. However, to limit them to just these criteria would be reductive, as the melodies shine through amidst this captivating maelstrom of sound. This is a band to keep an eye on moving forward.
